We, in nature.

TO THE MOON

I took this photo on 17.april 2022 at 9 o'clock in the evening . The guys from Slacktopia had built a highline in the Dolomites and when I heard that, I was immediately there. I looked at the spot and said to christoph: "here you could shoot a crazy photo at moonrise". And so this moment was frozen.

CRATER LAKE (USA)

A very crazy place. A huge volcanic crater lake, where in the middle of it is a small volcano. Crazy! This photo was taken while we were in Oregon for a month in 2016. One week we were winter camping at this place. And 2 hours of that we saw the lake. The rest of the time it was snowing and the view was extremely poor.

FIRE LIGHT

There was no sun all day and the sky was covered with clouds. But at sunset there was a light show of the finest. location: Monte piana (IT)

MT. HOOD (USA)

Sunset shooting on mt. hood. I can still remember that it was extremely cold and the wind was whistling extremely. But the light was breathtaking.

THE MAN IN THE MOON

The moon is powerful. We are lost in thought as we look at this giant glowing ball and dreamed of what might look cool silhouetted inside. I discoveredcould photograph the full moon with a really short exposure, and so the idea of the skier in the in the moon was born. On our first attempt in February, we failed to set the and the shutter was pressed too late. Too bad, we tried again the next day, but the clouds moved in and obscured the sky. A month later lukas got injured and we thought we would have to postpone everything until the next season. Just in time, a couple of days before the flight to Oregon, the weather cleared up with a full moon and the idea returned to our minds. There was still snow and we built a new hill. Everything looked good and it paid off with a huge full moon rising over the ridge just before sunset.

Five hits later we had the shot in the bag.

WITHOUT COLOR (B&W)

Sometimes no color is the perfect color.

A game between light and shadow.

The icefall

A place that is not the same every year. I once had the idea to photograph the stars from this hole. 4 years later there was so much ice as never before and so this photo was taken.
