The moon is powerful. We are lost in thought as we look at this giant glowing ball and dreamed of what might look cool silhouetted inside. I discoveredcould photograph the full moon with a really short exposure, and so the idea of the skier in the in the moon was born. On our first attempt in February, we failed to set the and the shutter was pressed too late. Too bad, we tried again the next day, but the clouds moved in and obscured the sky. A month later lukas got injured and we thought we would have to postpone everything until the next season. Just in time, a couple of days before the flight to Oregon, the weather cleared up with a full moon and the idea returned to our minds. There was still snow and we built a new hill. Everything looked good and it paid off with a huge full moon rising over the ridge just before sunset.
Five hits later we had the shot in the bag.
