Introduction

My name is Daniel Tschurtschenthaler and I was born in San Candido on January 17, 1991. Even as a child, I was fascinated by nature and its infinite beauty. This passion eventually led me to nature photography, which took me to many impressive places and shaped my life.

Early life

Growing up in a creative family, I was encouraged to pursue my artistic interests from an early age. My father was a painter and varnisher. The world of art and aesthetics was therefore an integral part of my everyday life. I got my first camera at the age of ten, a simple compact camera, but it laid the foundation for my later career.

Career and achievements

After secondary school, I decided to continue painting and varnishing in Schlanders. After 10 years as a painter and varnisher, I decided to pursue my passion and turn my hobby into a profession.

A milestone in my career was the publication of the documentary "Auf der Jagd nach dem Augenblick " in 2022. This documentary was filmed over a period of 3 years for Servus TV.

In 2023 I opened my own showroom in Sesto, which specialized in nature photography. ST. - JOSEF - str. 24/A Sexten/Moos

On April 23, 2023, I managed to photograph auroras in the Dolomites for the first time. After this sighting, I was gripped by aurora fever and tried to freeze them for eternity as often as possible. After a year of aurora hunting, I had enough photos to make an exhibition on auroras in the Dolomites.

On August 31, 2023, the book "nur MUT" was presented in the library of Welsberg. Franziska patzleiner wrote this book and i took the pictures.
